bi.expert works with clients that need clearer dashboards, better KPI definitions and analytics delivery they can actually maintain. We are building a freelancer pool for experienced BI consultants who can translate business questions into reliable reporting, lead workshops, document metric logic and deliver polished dashboards.
What you will do
- Lead discovery sessions with client stakeholders and turn business questions into dashboard requirements.
- Design KPI trees, reporting models and dashboard wireframes before development starts.
- Build or improve dashboards in Power BI, Tableau or similar BI platforms.
- Document data sources, metric definitions, refresh cadence and ownership.
- Communicate clearly with client teams, founders and delivery partners.
What we expect
- Demonstrable BI consulting or dashboard delivery experience.
- Strong understanding of KPI design, data modelling and stakeholder communication.
- Ability to work independently on project-based freelance assignments.
- Professional handling of sensitive business data and access boundaries.
- Excellent written communication in English; Dutch, German, Spanish, Russian or Arabic is a plus.
Nice to have
- Experience with risk, compliance, finance, public sector or healthcare analytics.
- Data engineering skills in SQL pipelines, dbt, Azure, BigQuery or Snowflake.
- Portfolio examples showing before/after dashboard improvements.
